TYC Chapters

Start a TYC Chapter

What are TYC Chapters?

TYC Chapters are trained youth-led groups working year-round to identify and dismantle barriers to positive youth development and empowerment , in their communities.

Youth development and empowerment landscape is different all over the Middle East, so TYC Chapters use a local approach, rather than "one size fits all." TYC Chapters are about bringing the mental health revolution to your own backyard.

Who can start a TYC Chapter?

  • Any young person involved with a youth-centric community. TYC Chapters are at high schools, post-secondary campuses, camps, community centres, community organizations and more. TYC Chapters comprised of high school-aged people require a staff or older community lead to oversee the group.
  • Any educator or community organizer working in a youth-centric context. Educators and community organizers have started TYC Chapters in high schools, community groups, community organizations, camps and more. Fill out the form below or contact us to get something started in your community.
